The devastating news of the USA Gurdwara massacre reached us last night and left everyone shocked, amazed and deeply sad. An event beyond comprehension and absolutely beyond words.
Day two of our first shooting schedule got underway and the weather has returned to simply – hot – after yesterday’s monsoon. We finished the first video today due to no rain disruptions. We’ve been filming the entire video more or less in one village over the course of the schedule, so it was nice to shoot the last scene which involved a large group of the villagers as a sort of thank you for their hosting of our unit.
I’m very much looking forward to a two day break in between the first and second projects. I say “break”, but the time will be spent scheduling and creating call sheets for the next shoot as well as arranging final props for our very interesting concept. A love story over decades, showing a unique passage of time.
Today was a full day’s filming in a push to make up lost time and wrap up the first video which left less time for blogging, so I’ll leave you with a very quick and rough behind the scenes sequence from today.
